Halton Region Educational Assistant Arrested on Internet Child Exploitation Charges

In a shocking development, a 42-year-old educational assistant from Halton region, Cameron Ivens of Milton, Ont., has been apprehended by Halton Regional Police on charges related to internet child exploitation. The arrest, made on March 7, follows a thorough investigation into the matter.
Ivens, who served at P.L. Robertson, Munns, Emily Carr, and Viola Desmond public schools from 2014 to 2019, faces serious allegations. Moreover, his involvement in offering private piano lessons to children in their homes around 2015 under the name Pitch Perfect Piano Service is being scrutinized.
The charges leveled against Ivens are grave and include sexual assault, production and possession of child pornography, voyeurism, and exposure to a person under 16 years, among others.
Halton police, expressing concern for potential further victims, have released a photograph of Ivens and encourage anyone with pertinent information to come forward.
