A chilling case from Switzerland has surfaced involving former Miss Switzerland finalist Kristina Joksimovic, 38, who was allegedly murdered by her husband in Binningen, near Basel, earlier this year.
According to local reports from BZ Basel, Joksimovic’s husband, Thomas, 41, confessed to the gruesome killing during a crime reconstruction in March. He claimed it was in self-defense after she allegedly attacked him with a knife. Thomas' appeal for release from custody was denied by the Federal Court in Lausanne.
Authorities revealed that Kristina Joksimovic was strangled to death before her body was dismembered in the couple's laundry room using a jigsaw, knife, and garden shears. The report further stated that body parts were chopped with a hand blender, "pureed," and dissolved in chemicals.
Thomas initially told investigators that he found Joksimovic dead and dismembered her in a panic, but later admitted to the crime. This disturbing case continues to shock Switzerland as the investigation unfolds.
